The Auto-Ordnance 1911BKOANN is a GI-style 1911 pistol built on a steel frame with a steel slide, and chambered in .45 ACP. This gun celebrates the 100th anniversary of the1916 WWI version of 1911-style pistol. The company will produce 1,500 units and sell them in a matched set with its 1927A-1 carbine. The 1911 features two three-line engravings on the slide’s right: “X of 1,500, Limited Edition, Matched Set,” and “1916-2016, the Thompson logo, and 100th Anniversary.”
