Manufacturer’s Description
BB Tech‘s BB6 is a semiauto pistol built on a polymer frame with a machined steel slide, and chambered in 9mm, 9x21mm or .40 SW. Designed by Wilhelm Bubits (formerly of Glock, Steyr, Caracal and Walther) in Austria, this striker-fired pistol employs a variation of the Browning tilting barrel mechanism (with reduced tilting). Other features include:
Front and rear grip serrations on the slide;
The BB6 with the standard rear sight.
an internal slide stop with a polymer, left-side slide-release lever;
a fixed post front sight with a white line;
either a low-profile notch rear sight, or a Swift sight (see photo below), both dovetailed into the slide;
a quick-attach mount for adding slide-top optics (the slide includes machined attach points for this mount);
a Mil-STD 1913 accessory rail beneath the barrel;
a Glock-style trigger-bar safety;
a drop safety;
a magazine safety (optional);
a manual safety in the rear of the trigger guard;
a loaded chamber indicator on top of the slide;
ambidextrous magazine release buttons;
three interchangeable backstraps to accommodate different hand sizes;
a finger-groove grip; and
flush-fit and extended magazines.
Reportedly, ISSC will handle BB6 distribution and American Tactical Imports will import the BB6 into the United States.
