Summary: The manufacturer’s description and specs, and the average user rating for the Beretta Bobcat pistols.
Manufacturer’s Description
The Beretta Bobcat is chambered in .25 ACP and .22 LR. This tiny double-action pistol features a tip-up barrel that allows the user to easily load a round directly into the chamber without slide retraction. It also assists in the safe clearing of the pistol by allowing a live round to be easily removed from the chamber and the bore quickly checked. Jamming and stovepiping problems are virtually eliminated by the open slide design shared by all small frame Berettas.
Precisely rifled for accuracy, the barrel is forged out of special high-strength stainless steel. Frames are machined from solid aluminum forgings. The new Inox versions utilize the finest materials, difficult to machine but exceptionally corrosion resistant and durable.
The Inox version sports a stainless steel slide and barrel. The alloy frame is gray anodized to match the color and finish of the stainless components. The other metal parts (trigger, hammer, trigger guard, safety, magazine, etc.) are black finished.

Fun gun to shoot. Keep the gun clean and the feed ramp polished. Use higher velocity ammo and the Beretta magazines.
The reason for less than 10 stars is the caliber mine is accurate and will place all shots in the center ring at 21 ft if cleaned often very reliable but 25 acp is not a known man stopper.
Mine is really reliable and fun to shoot. Accuracy? What’s that? The little gun has sights (sort of) and does better than you would think but it’s for short range only. These 25’s were carried (really!) back in the 60’s before people were generally aware of stopping power. My neighbor still carries a .25 when working in his shop late at night, and you know what; if he has a problem it will probably do the job.
The design is great and the grip big enough that you can actually hold the little pistol. Fits nicely in any pocket and with DA first shot its ready to go in an instant! Everybody should own one of these!

mine is .22 caliber, very dependable, enough accurate, and better than a .45 in a closet…
