The Bond Arms Texas Defender Retro is a derringer built on a stainless steel frame and chambered in .45 LC and .410, or .38 Special and .357 Magnum. It’s a new version of the company’s base Texas Defender derringer. The difference? A matte finish on the frame and a contrasting polished stainless finish on the barrels, controls, etc. Other features include:
The Texas Defender Retro with the standard grip.
An automatic extractor;
a rebounding hammer;
retracting firing pins;
a crossbolt safety;
a spring-loaded cammed locking lever for a tight barrel/frame fit and rapid loading and unloading;
a trigger guard;
a blade-front sight;
a fixed rear sight; and
either a black ash extended grip with an etched star, or a black rubber standard-size grip with a star.
