Manufacturer’s Description
The Glock 30SF is a semiauto pistol built on a polymer frame and chambered in .45 ACP. The “SF” in the name stands for Short Frame, named thus because with this frame, Glock has reduced the circumference of the receiver’s rear to increase comfort and control for shooters with small hands, and reduced the distance from the backstrap to the trigger.
Other features include:
- Glock’s dual recoil spring assembly;
- an accessory rail;
- Glocks traditional white-dot front sight and white-outlines rear sight; and
- a cold-hammer-forged barrel with octagonal rifling.
Note: Glock also offers a related model called the Glock 30S. It features a thinner slide.
