Manufacturer’s Description
The High Standard Supermatic Match is a 1911-style pistol chambered in .45 ACP. The standard model sports a 6″ barrel but you can get a 5″ model, too. Other features include:
- A precision fitted frame and slide;
- a precision fitted match barrel and bushing set;
- a polished feed ramp and throated barrel;
- a lowered and flared ejection port;
- a slotted hammer;
- a lightweight long trigger with an overtravel stop;
- a trigger pull tuned at approximately 4 lbs.;
- a tuned extractor;
- an extended safety;
- a wide beavertail grip safety with a memory pad;
- a dovetail front sight;
- a fully adjustable rear sight;
- a full length recoil spring guide;
- deluxe Cocobolo grips with the High Standard eagle logo;
- a beveled magazine well with an S&A extension;
- a flat, serrated mainspring housing;
- a black teflon finish; and
- two seven-round magazines.
