Manufacturer’s Description

Iver Johnson Arms‘ 1911A1 is a full-size, 1911 Series 70-style semiauto pistol built on a cast steel frame with a forged, CNC-machined slide. It’s chambered in .45 ACP or 9mm. Other features include:

• A GI-style rear sight;
  

  The OD green model.

• a fixed, blade front sight;
• GI-style controls;
• walnut, logo-engraved grips;
• a finger-relief cut near the trigger;
• a flat, serrated mainspring housing; and
• vertical serrations on the slide’s rear.

Numerous finishes are available, including matte blue; cerakote OD green, coyote tan or pink; snake style (copperhead and water moccasin); and zombie.

The snake style and zombie prints are applied using Hydro Graphic dipping. The snake guns’ base coat is a tan, high-grade epoxy. There is a clear coat over the entire finish to protect the print. Each snake gun comes with black Dymondwood, double-diamond wood grips with snake scale texture and an owl head logo. The zombie gun comes with zombie engraved, pearlized, green Hogue grips.

Each gun comes with a magazine that has a removable floor plate for easy cleaning, a gun lock, a manual and black plastic gun case.

Iver Johnson says these guns are assembled in the Philippines by Shooters Arms Manufacturing according to Iver’s spec and design, and using Iver’s selected parts.
