Manufacturer’s Description

Phillipines-based Metro Arms has resurrected the Llama brand and a Llama handgun with its Llama Micromax semiauto pistol. The Micromax is a reduced-size 1911-style pistol built on a 4140 steel frame with a 4140 forged-steel slide, and chambered in .380 ACP. Other features include:

  • A locked breech action;
  • a throated, forged-steel barrel;
  • a flared and lowered ejection port;
  • front and rear slide grip serrations;

  • a dovetailed front sight;
  • a dovetailed Novak-type rear sight;
  • a skeletal combat trigger;
  • a skeletal combat hammer;
  • a beavertail grip safety with a raised pad;
  • an ambidextrous thumb safety;
  • contoured grips;
  • a standard slide stop; and
  • a matte blued finish.

Eagle Imports imports the Micromax into the United States and says it should be available in February 2016. It offers a lifetime service contract for the pistol’s original owner.
