Manufacturer’s Description

The Remington 1911 R1 Centennial Limited Edition is designed to honor the 1911’s 100th anniversary. It’s chambered in .45 ACP and built on a carbon steel frame with a carbon steel slide with a high-polish charcoal blue finish. Features include:

  • A dovetailed, 14kt gold bead front sight;
  • exhibition-grade walnut smooth grips;
  • anniversary engraving with a 24kt gold banner on the slide; and
  • a special centennial serial number range starting at JB1855001.

This pistol comes in a walnut, French-fit presentation case. Remington will produce only 300.

  1. I have number 001 and the cereal number actually has JMB1855001 and obviously the jmb stands for John Moses Browning and 1855 stands for the year he was born, but I am not seeing this in all of the articles that I am finding online. All of the serial numbers only start with JB
