Manufacturer’s Description

The Rock Island Armory 1911 Tactical is a full-size 1911-style pistol built on a steel frame and chambered in .45 ACP or 9mm. Features include:

• Meprolight or Novak night sights;
• a parkerized finish;
• a combat hammer;
• a skeletonized trigger;
• a full dust cover with a picatinny rail;
• smooth wood grips, diamond-checkered wood grips, or VZ Tactical grips;
• a GI guide rod and plug;
• an extended beavertail grip safety;
• rear only vertical cocking serrations;
• an optional magwell; and
• a 70 series firing system (i.e., no firing pin safety).

Note: Rock Island Armory imports its version of these pistols from Armscor.
