Manufacturer’s Description

The Rock River Arms (RRA) 1911-A1 Carry is a semiauto pistol built on a full-size RRA national match forged-steel frame with a full-length RRA national match forged-steel slide, and chambered in .45 ACP. Other features include:

  • A lowered and flared ejection port;
  • a throated RRA barrel and bushing;
  • a tuned and polished extractor;
  • an extended ejector;
  • front and rear slide serrations;

  • a beveled mag well;
  • an RRA dovetailed front sight with tritium inserts;
  • a Heinie rear sight with tritium inserts;
  • an RRA match aluminum speed trigger with a crisp 3.5 lb. pull;
  • a match commander hammer;
  • a match sear;
  • a flat mainspring housing with 25 LPI checkering;
  • 25 LPI checkering on the front strap;
  • a tactical magazine catch;
  • a tactical safety;
  • a beavertail grip safety with a raised pad;
  • rosewood grips;
  • a parkerized finish; and
  • one magazine.

RRA says the 1911-A1 Carry is dehorned for carry and tuned for reliability, and that it guarantees this pistol will shoot 2.5″ groups at 50 yards with 185-grain Federal Gold Medal Match semi-wadcutters.
