The Rock River Arms (RRA) 1911-A1 Carry is a semiauto pistol built on a full-size RRA national match forged-steel frame with a full-length RRA national match forged-steel slide, and chambered in .45 ACP. Other features include:
- A lowered and flared ejection port;
- a throated RRA barrel and bushing;
- a tuned and polished extractor;
- an extended ejector;
- front and rear slide serrations;
- a beveled mag well;
- an RRA dovetailed front sight with tritium inserts;
- a Heinie rear sight with tritium inserts;
- an RRA match aluminum speed trigger with a crisp 3.5 lb. pull;
- a match commander hammer;
- a match sear;
- a flat mainspring housing with 25 LPI checkering;
- 25 LPI checkering on the front strap;
- a tactical magazine catch;
- a tactical safety;
- a beavertail grip safety with a raised pad;
- rosewood grips;
- a parkerized finish; and
- one magazine.
RRA says the 1911-A1 Carry is dehorned for carry and tuned for reliability, and that it guarantees this pistol will shoot 2.5″ groups at 50 yards with 185-grain Federal Gold Medal Match semi-wadcutters.
