  1. Really nice firearm, very accurate and fun to shoot. I like the full size 629 as it takes the Safariland speed loaders which are much faster than the HKS or 5 star type. I am waiting on a Dale Fricke holster for it to see how it carries. The one for my M 69 is now my EDC. The only downside I have is that the muzzle brake loosened up during my last trip to the range and accuracy suffered greatly. Tightening up the screw fixed that problem and when I got home some red loctite hopefully will solve the problem although the gun does get really really hot during extended firing so we will see, an Allen wrench is now part of my kit for this gun. I thought I’d want the Hogue X grip for this revolver as that is what I put on the M 69, but the factory grips seem to work just fine – go figure. Love the gun even if it does have the silly locking thingy.

Be the first one to like this.
