Summary: The description, specs, photo, pricing and user ratings for STI’s IPSC pistol.

Manufacturer’s Description

STI‘s IPSC model is a double-stack 1911 chambered in 9mm, .40 SW or .45 ACP. Built on the patented modular steel frame with polymer grip, the Eagle delivers the traditional features of a 1911 and allows the added benefit of high capacity magazines.

The innovative frame design preserves the 17-degree grip angle relative to the slide original to the 1911. The essential design element for high capacity, the polymer grip, allows for double stack magazines without over-sizing the circumference of the grip, which remains comparatively the same as the circumference of a 1911.

This pistol couples STI’s patented receiver with all the most desirable accessories in a factory firearm. The controls are STI International’s stainless steel ambidextrous thumb safeties and knuckle relief high-rise beavertail grip safety. The full length forged stainless steel barstock slide features STI’s unique saber tooth rear cocking serrations, custom IPSC engravings, and is Tri-topped to reduce weight and felt recoil. The barrel is a 5″ fully ramped, fully supported bull barrel. This excellent firearm comes standard with an STI square hammer, Recoil Master, patented STI trigger system, STI S-7 sear, and titanium strut for smooth, reliable function. The hard chromed slide has a black inlay, stainless steel magwell, and an STI adjustable rear sight.
