Manufacturer’s Description
The Taurus 940 is a carry-sized semiauto chambered in .40 SW. It features a drop hammer and a forged ordnance-grade alloy frame and hammer-forged steel slide. Other features include a three-position frame-mounted ambidextrous safety, which is more secure than a slide mounted safety and allows for a classic single-action cocked-and-locked mode, as well as functioning as a DA decocking lever.
The double-action/single-action 940 comes with fixed sights, a loaded chamber indicator, an extended magazine to enhance grip and a blue or stainless steel finish. Available grips include checkered rubber, rosewood and mother of pearl, and you can get gold accents as well.
