Thompson Center‘s G2 Contender is a single-shot pistol chambered in a wide variety of calibers, including:
- .17 HMR
- .204 Ruger
- .22 Hornet
- .22 LR
- .223 Remington
- .30/30 Winchester
- .357 Magnum
- .410
- .45 LC
- .44 Magnum
- .45-70
- 6.8mm Remington
- 7-30 Waters
The G2 Contender is built on an interchangeable platform, allowing you to change calibers by changing barrels and even convert the pistol into a rifle.
The pistol’s features include:
- A break-open design;
- a drilled and tapped barrel (for scope mounts);
- a hammer with a manual firing pin selector, allowing you to use rimfire and centerfire barrels on the same frame;
- an adjustable rear sight;
- a ramp front sight blade;
- an ambidextrous, walnut or rubber finger-groove grip with a matching forend; and
- an automatic hammer-block safety with a bolt interlock.
