Summary: The description, specs, photo and MSRP for the USFA U.S. Pre-War revolvers.

Manufacturer’s Description

The USFA U.S. Pre-War re-creates the classic gun made at the Colt Armory during first generation production between 1873–1941 before WWII. The U.S. Pre-War features the correct use of assembly number in hidden places and an original serial number from 1st Generation production. This is the end of 1st Generation Production “under the blue Dome;” the last serial number was 357,859.

USFA brings back to life some forgotten knowledge, and with certain options you can recreate an original gun from history or your personal collection, even down to the serial number. Retire your old Colt and commission USFA to build a replacement. A historical letter is available to document your gun.

It’s available built on a cross pin frame with a square-notch rear sight and a square front blade, or a black powder frame with a V notch rear sight and blade front sight. Available calibers include .45 LC, .44 Special, .44-40, .38 Special, .38-40 and .32-20. You can get the U.S. Pre-War in dual chamberings, including .45 LC/.45 ACP, .44 Special/.44-40, .22 LR/.22 WMR and .38-40/.41 LC.

Available grips include hard-rubber, stag and a variety of ivories and walnuts. It’s finished in bone case and blue, and a wide range of engraving is available. Other options include a signature on the backstrap, an etched panel on the barrel, initials or monogram and fire-blue appointments.
